What does the player fee or funds raised cover?

As a nonprofit organization, we want our programs to be as affordable as possible.  As a result, we keep our player fees as low as possible and give the option to offset costs. Each player's fee, covers expenses we incur to operate our leagues (team equipment, uniforms, umpires, concession stand expenses, etc.).  We cover the rest of our operating expenses with support from a combination of sources, including our donors, website sponsors, on-field advertisers, concession stand profits, and tournament hosting activities.

What about Tournament/Travel Teams?

We do have a baseball team at all age levels.  Each of our tournament teams plays in several tournaments over the course of the year.  All tournament teams host at least one tournament at our fields in Beaver Dam.  All tournament teams also travel to play in tournaments away from home.  All players who register and participate in our rec programs are eligible to try out for the tournament teams at their respective age level.  Players who are selected for the tournament teams are then required to pay an additional player fee or participate in a fee replacement program once they have been selected, through a separate registration process that happens late summer every year for the following year.
